What is it?
I like to refer to this blend as our “tylenol” tea. It really can be used for many of the same reasons. It does take a little more prep time, but there is definitely no black label on it! Allowing our bodies to heal and be nourished by Mother Earth is a beautiful gift that often gets overlooked through the ease of use that modern medicine offers.
- Great Substitute for Tylenol for Infants and Children
- Lowers Fevers
- Soothes Toothaches & Teething Pain
- Mild Sedative (Simple Remedy for Fussy nights)
Catnip is an excellent herb for children and infants. It is particularly useful for lowering fevers and soothing toothaches or teething pain. Elder helps to dissolve and expel phlegm from the body while gently inducing mild sweating and lowering fever. Lemon Balm works to lower fever while also using its antiviral properties to reduce the infectivity of a variety of different viruses. As a Nervine, lemon balm works with Chamomile to bring a sense of calm and promote restful sleep to this effective and gentle blend.
